Re-branding San Diego County Parks (DPR) was meant to provide a firm identity for their products and services.

To maintain a consistent and effective look the department created an umbrella identity for some of the more popular parks in the system. In partnership with MJE Marketing, the new identity was used to capture the DPR name and reflect the uniqueness of each facility or park by using light and airy, hand-drawn images of parks, animals, and people.

These strategies were used to re-brand the department which included merchandising meant to epitomize a multi-cultural, multi-demographic community spirit that reinforced an individual’s deep connection to each park or facility.
