STORMWATER REBRAND

ORANGE COUNTY

Orange County, comprised of 34 cities, partnered with Thrive and MIG|MJE to re-brand its stormwater and outreach initiatives, aligning all cities with the statewide stormwater permit, which mandates a demonstrated positive behavior change among residents to reduce stormwater pollution.

The rebrand was a collaborative effort involving all 34 cities, ensuring a consistent voice, message, and brand standards across the county.

Key elements of the rebrand included action campaigns designed to reinforce positive behaviors, a comprehensive social media revamp, the addition of blogs to enhance SEO through rich content, a robust digital marketing campaign, and the creation of public service announcements. These efforts aimed to promote best practices such as picking up trash, reducing water usage, and recycling.
